Substitute Teachers (2022-23)

About the School The Leadership School is a new, innovative charter public school that opened Fall 2022. We serve students and families within the boundaries of the Normandy Schools Collaborative. The school started with kindergarten through second grade and add a grade each year, growing to kindergarten through eighth grade over six years. The Leadership School exists to ensure that all children in our community grow their leadership capacity through earnest engagement in an academically rigorous, culturally relevant, and relationship-oriented environment. In addition to providing a strong foundation of relationships and belonging and the toolkit of academic skills, our students will have authentic opportunities to practice and exercise leadership—in one’s own life and the world around them. About the Position We are seeking substitute teachers who are available between the hours of 8am - 4pm to support student learning and leadership in the absence of classroom teachers. The ideal candidate has high expectations for all students, believes in the mission and vision of The Leadership School and has experience working with young children. Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant will ensure the efficient operation of the school’s office and provide clerical and administrative services to the School Leadership Team. With minimal supervision, the Administrative Assistant will handle confidential information and frequent contact with all levels of employees, outside agencies, and the general public. Their location in the school puts them in a position to be a significant contributor to a positive school culture through the provision of high levels of customer service. The administrative assistant reports directly to the Director of Student and Community Affairs, and collaborates daily with the School Operations Manager.
